Prometheas offers individuals and businesses consultancy aimed at resolving disputes in the energy sector, guaranteeing technical expertise and professionalism for the role of party-appointed technical consultant in court proceedings and for drafting expert reports supporting one of the parties out of court.

Nel ruolo di CTP, Prometheas assiste le parti in causa affiancando il Consulente Tecnico d’Ufficio (CTU) nominato dal giudice nell’esecuzione del suo incarico e proponendo le proprie osservazioni a supporto o in contrasto rispetto al risultato a cui il perito del giudice giunge. Quella che svolge il CTP è dunque una funzione di controllo tecnico sull’operato del CTU nell’interesse della parte assistita. Allo scopo di far emergere l’interpretazione dei fatti a supporto della posizione del proprio cliente, infatti, il CTP, oltre a sottoporre al CTU valutazioni alternative alle proprie, al termine della perizia può sottoporre le proprie osservazioni al giudice. Nello specifico, in qualità di CTP Prometheas:

• assists in the expert operations of the court-appointed technical consultant
• attends hearings and/or council chambers when the court-appointed technical consultant takes part
• presents their observations to the court-appointed technical consultant verbally or in writing
• presents their observations on the results reached by the court-appointed technical consultant

In out-of-court matters too, Prometheas professionals make available to their customers the specific technical skills acquired over more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, supporting them by drafting technical reports on existing situations and by carrying out checks on consumption, billing and credit management.

Prometheas offers its assistance to enforce the statute of limitations on credits for gas and electricity consumption invoiced after more than two years.

Law no. 205/17 as amended provides important protection for the customer when adjustments for gas and electricity consumption relating to a period of more than two years are invoiced; the amounts in question can in fact be considered time-barred, with the result that payment is not due.

Prometheas professionals, on behalf of their customers, intervene with the relevant gas and electricity sales company, carrying out all the activities needed to establish and have the statute of limitations on the credit recognised.

Prometheas files and manages, on behalf of its customers, the complaints and compensation claims they intend to submit to their gas and electricity sales company and/or to the locally competent distribution company.

When service failures affect their customers, Prometheas professionals make their technical skills available to resolve the problem and obtain any compensation for the resulting damage.

Customers who are not satisfied with the response given to their complaint by the gas and electricity sales company and/or by the locally competent distribution company can use conciliation, a tool provided by the regulations through which the parties are called to assess the possibility of reaching an amicable settlement of the dispute.

In this phase too Prometheas assists its customers. Prometheas professionals start the conciliation attempt on the customer's behalf and take part in it, presenting the customer's complaints and supporting their position.
